PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police have identified a 17-year-old girl who drowned at a pool party over the weekend.

According to police, Angeline Davis and her 13-year-old brother were attending a party at a home near 43rd and Missouri avenues Saturday when authorities were called around 10:30 p.m.

Officer James Holmes says the girl was pulled from the pool’s deep end after a partygoer felt her body at the bottom of the pool.

Firefighters administered CPR but she died at a hospital.

The brother says he didn’t know if his sister knew how to swim.
