MIDFIELD, Ala. (AP) - Flames have gutted a bus belonging to Jackson State University on an interstate highway near Birmingham.
The bus was carrying the school’s baseball team when it caught fire on Interstate 20/59 in Midfield on Monday.
Police say everyone who was on board escaped and no one was hurt, but the bus was badly damaged.
No cause has been released, and Alabama state troopers are investigating.
Jackson State has a game scheduled at Savannah State on Tuesday night.
