SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - More than 160 bicycle riders are taking part in the sixth annual Lund Ride for Children.

The event benefits the Lund, whose mission is to help children thrive by serving families with children, pregnant or parenting teens and young adults and adoptive families.

The ride takes place Sunday starting from Lund’s new building in South Burlington. Bicyclists can choose from four routes of 55 miles, 30 miles, 16 miles and a 4-mile family route.

The event had raised more than $47,000 by Thursday.

Organizers say riders are welcome to register the day of the event online at www.bikevt.org.
