Traffic back-ups on Interstate 89

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - There are some traffic backups on Interstate 89 in Vermont.

State Police say a vehicle crash on I-89 west in South Burlington - the connector between I-89, Exit 13 and Shelburne Road - is causing a backup on the interstate.

Motorists traveling in the area should expect delays, or seek alternate routes.

There was no immediate information on injuries.

Interstate 89 northbound also was closed off at Exit 11 in Richmond because of a truck fire just above the exit ramp.
