SUPERIOR, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Gilbert man reported missing earlier this week has been found dead in Superior.

Pinal County Sheriff’s officials say the body of 36-year-old Eric Silverstein was located Friday near the base of the bridge on U.S. 60 that connects Superior to Globe.

Authorities didn’t release a possible cause of death, but say there’s no sign of foul play.

Silverstein was director of the K-12 Partnerships at the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix.

He was last seen at a convenience store in Superior early Wednesday.

Silverstein was reported missing after he failed to message family members or show up to work.

His wife told The Arizona Republic that Silverstein had a history of depression, but showed no indication of distress in recent weeks.

The couple has toddler-aged triplet daughters.
