BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - Jared Baszler says he’s resigning as the golf coach for South Dakota State University after 11 seasons with the school.

The men’s and women’s coach said Saturday he plans to pursue other opportunities in private business.

Baszler coached the Jackrabbit men and women to 11 team tournament titles and nine student-athletes to individual tournament titles.

His resignation is immediate and SDSU Athletic Director Justin Sell says a national search to find Baszler’s replacement will begin right away.
