Detroit Zoo event features music, food and beer

ROYAL OAK, Mich. (AP) - The Detroit Zoo is hosting a nighttime event featuring food, music and animals.

And beer.

Zoo Brew is on tap for Thursday at the zoo in suburban Royal Oak.

The 21-and-over event is to offer unique beers from select Michigan craft breweries.

The beer-tasting experience also is to include access to the zoo’s habitats, tram tours and zookeeper talks.

The Detroit Zoo also plans a fall Zoo Brew on Sept. 26.
