INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (AP) - The Washoe County sheriff’s office is one patrol boat short at Lake Tahoe.

Marine 9, a 24-foot boat moored near the Hyatt in Incline Village, sank Monday night.

KOLO-TV (https://bit.ly/1nUJdIV ) reports it sank while tethered. No one was on it and the cause hasn’t been determined.



The sheriff’s office will determine if it can be repaired or will need to be replaced. The vessel is insured.

The county uses boats for patrol and search and rescue at Tahoe, Pyramid and other area bodies of water.
