NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Highway Patrol says the right, eastbound traffic on Interstate 75’s Alligator Alley will close temporarily to allow firefighters to get firefighting equipment to a wildfire burning in the Everglades.

The lane will be closed from approximately 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday.

Master Sergeant Daniel Taylor says travelers in the area may see low-flying aircraft in the areas of Interstate 75 mile markers 57 and 59 on Tuesday as firefighters try to put out the flames.
