EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Snohomish County officials are considering adding a new landslide disclosure to building permits.
The Daily Herald reports (https://is.gd/MM7yw1 ) the county already requires disclosures for building in the potential path of a volcano or tsunami.
The building permit change is the easiest change that has come out of discussions by elected officials in the wake of the March 22 Oso landslide.
The county also is looking for ways to inform people about any existing geological reports concerning their property.
