BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Health Department says one more person has been identified in a hepatitis C outbreak.

State epidemiologist Tracy Miller says the case count is now at 46.

Miller says the latest case is not linked to the 45 other cases to found in current or former residents of a nursing home in Minot.

Hepatitis C is a viral infection that can cause serious liver damage or even death.
