PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - A motorcycle ride inspired by missing toddler Ayla Reynolds is being held this weekend.

The “Ride for the Missing” kicks off Saturday in Lewiston and follows a route that takes riders through New Gloucester and Gray before returning to L-A Harley, a motorcycle dealership where there’s a barbecue lunch and a DJ.

The toddler was reported missing on Dec. 17, 2011, by her father in Waterville.

Investigators found blood inside the home and concluded the child was a victim of foul play. But searches have failed to turn up any sign of her. Maine state police say they’re continuing an active investigation.
