WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) - Detectives continue to investigate the death of a 92-year-old Waterville man they consider suspicious.

State and local police spent Saturday canvassing the neighborhood of Aurele Fecteau. Authorities say he was found dead at his home on Friday by a family member.

State police spokesman Stephen McCausland says an autopsy was performed Saturday but no information was immediately released.

McCausland says investigators gathered evidence from the inside of the home that might explain Fecteau’s death.
