80-year-old man found dead in central Indiana lake

NASHVILLE, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say an 80-year-old Bloomington man was found dead near his fishing boat in a central Indiana lake.

State Conservation Officer Angela Goldman says John Trisler was spotted floating Thursday in Sweetwater Lake in northeastern Brown County.

Goldman tells The Herald-Times (https://bit.ly/1k0R0Ri ) that Trisler was pulled from the water as emergency crews were called to the lake in a rural area about 25 miles south of Indianapolis. He wasn’t wearing a life jacket.

Goldman says the cause of Trisler’s death wasn’t immediately determined but that foul play isn’t suspected.
