WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - The president of the Williston Park Board says the city’s parks director has the group’s full backing.

President Joel Wilt says earlier media reports that Parks and Recreation District Executive Director Darin Krueger had been placed on an improvement plan were inaccurate.

Williston Herald (https://bit.ly/1i4CXdP ) Managing Editor David Rupkalvis said the newspaper reported the improvement plan after what he called a “confusing” board meeting. He apologized for the error but also said the board has refused to answer questions about a suspension of Krueger last month that later was nullified.
