COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont National Guard will be holding a Memorial Day ceremony in advance of the federal holiday.

The ceremony takes place Thursday at 2 p.m. at Camp Johnson in Colchester.

Gov. Peter Shumlin and Major Gen. Steve Cray, the adjutant general of Vermont, are expected to speak.



The event will include a ceremonial wreath laying, music by the 40th Army Band and cannon salutes.
