WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - A 56-year-old motorcyclist has been killed in a crash in Warwick.

Police say Frank Rosa lost control of his motorcycle and hit a pole Wednesday night.

Investigators say the Warwick man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It’s unclear if speed or alcohol were factors in the collision.

Police say witnesses reported seeing a blue Mustang speeding in the area just before the crash. They’re working to determine if it had any involvement in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
