CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Charlotte 49ers director of athletics Judy Rose has announced that women’s basketball coach Cara Consuegra has agreed to a three-year extension.
Terms of the deal were not available Wednesday.
Consuegra is 57-36 in three seasons with the 49ers, guiding the program to three straight postseason berths.
Rose says, “Cara exhibits the type of character and leadership we value so strongly. Her passion for the game is contagious.”
