ALBANY, Ore. (AP) - A woman has died in a house fire Thursday night in Albany

Police said Friday in a statement that passers-by got two people out of the house, but 45-year-old Kimberly Rae Burks died at the scene as a result of her injuries.

Sgt. Ron Parker told the Democrat-Herald (https://bit.ly/1pXnZiT) that the fire didn’t seem to be of suspicious origin, but an investigation will be conducted.

The police said the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives would join local investigators.
