RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - A 42-year-old woman accused of hitting her boyfriend several times with her car during an argument outside a Riverton motel has been charged with driving under the influence and two counts of aggravated assault.

The Riverton Ranger reports (https://bit.ly/1kwGBir ) Teresa Leah Sunrhodes, of Lander, appeared in court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday and faces up to 21 ½ years in prison if convicted.

She was arrested April 16 after witnesses said she struck Anthony Hopper with her car. Police say her blood alcohol content was 0.278 percent, more than three times the legal limit for driving.

A witness told investigators Sunrhodes quickly reversed into Hopper twice, knocking him to the ground. She is accused of then driving over the man twice.
