BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - The state’s Commission on Practice has recommended disbarment for a Billings lawyer accused of misusing client funds.

The commission has forwarded the recommendation on Sol Neuhardt to the Montana Supreme Court, which will issue the final decision.

According to the Billings Gazette (https://tinyurl.com/q8obq9q ), Neuhardt has a track record of disciplinary problems and faced a state panel on two more misconduct complaints on April 24.

The commission recommendation is only on one of the complaints, the one that alleged that Neuhardt mishandled money in two personal injury cases. The commission has not issued a recommendation in the second complaint yet.

Neuhardt has declined to comment on the hearing.
