SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Prosecutors have filed felony five sex abuse charges against a former female director of a Utah home for boys with sexual behavioral problems.

The Utah County Attorney’s Office filed charges Thursday against 34-year-old Teresa Lee Cope, who was arrested last week. She is out on bail.

Authorities say Cope had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy in the spring of 2013. Cope was the director of the Birdseye Boys Ranch in Utah County from 2012 until December when she left.

Cope’s attorney Rachael Whitaker did not immediately respond to messages left Friday afternoon.

Utah County Sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Cannon says authorities don’t suspect other boys were abused but they are investigating.
