BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) - Oil and coal trains are among the issues on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the state Transportation Commission in Bellingham.

The Bellingham Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1hXFarq ) a panel representing Burlington Northern Santa Fe, the Association of Washington Cities and the state Ecology Department will discuss oil and coal train hazards and traffic disruptions.

The public will have a half-hour to comment at the meeting, which is being held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the City Hall in Bellingham.
