PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a Pine Bluff man has been fatally shot after he was chased out of his apartment.
Pine Bluff police say 56-year-old James Green died at Jefferson Regional Medical Center after being shot multiple times Sunday night.
Pine Bluff police say Green’s daughter reported that an unknown man entered Green’s apartment about 9:30 p.m., and demanded cigarettes and money.
Police say a fight ensued, and the daughter was struck. Authorities say Green then entered the apartment from the outside before the suspect chased him outside and opened fire.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1khsaBa) that no arrests have been made.
