JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - A northern New Jersey man has pleaded not guilty to charges that he fatally shot two men in a parked car, cut off their heads and hands and buried them in the woods.

The Jersey Journal (https://bit.ly/1gI58EF) reports that Yusuf Ibrahim of Jersey City entered his pleas Monday afternoon during a court hearing in Hudson County.

The 29-year-old faces murder, kidnapping, robbery and desecrating human remains charges in a 16-count indictment. He remains jailed in Hudson County on bail set at more than $3.5 million.

State authorities have said Ibrahim shot and killed 25-year-old Hanny Tawadros and 27-year-old Amgad Konds after he abducted them in February 2013. The two victims were Egyptians who were living in Jersey City.

The body parts were found buried in Atlantic County.
