EAST FLAT ROCK, N.C. (AP) - Henderson County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a suspect in the stabbing death of a man in East Flat Rock.

Deputies were called to a home just before 7 p.m. Sunday and found 36-year-old Michael Rondell Brown of Hendersonville dead from stab wounds.

Chief Deputy Frank Stout says officers arrested 46-year-old James Benjamin Charles of East Flat Rock in Henderson County early Monday afternoon. Stout says Charles was driving a stolen vehicle. It was not clear if he has a lawyer.



Deputies have not released a motive in the death.
