COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - The annual South Carolina Book Festival is kicking off with an address by noted satirist and award-winning novelist Christopher Buckley.

Buckley is scheduled to speak Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the University of South Carolina School of Law auditorium.

USC President Harris Pastides is introducing Buckley, who also will be signing copies of his latest book, “But Enough About You.”



The annual Book Festival is the state’s premiere literary event and runs through Sunday. This year’s festival features more than a half-dozen university faculty, staff authors and numerous alumni.
