BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) - A judge has found a former Burlington therapist guilty of sexually exploiting a patient who was suffering from depression.
The Hawk Eye reports (https://bit.ly/1oxAzn6 ) Des Moines County District Judge Mary Ann Brown on Thursday found 41-year-old Scott Eugene Bair guilty of sexual exploitation by a counselor, therapist or school employee.
Court documents state that last July, Bair started counseling a woman suffering from depression. Prosecutors argued that after she sought treatment at a West Burlington center, Bair asked him to come to his private practice in his home.
