ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (AP) - Police in Rocky Mount say the bodies of three people have been found inside a car that crashed into a downtown building and burst into flames.

The crash occurred shortly before 2 a.m. Friday

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims



Cpl. Mike Lewis said when police and rescue personnel arrived, the car was engulfed in flames. After the flames were extinguished, police found the bodies inside the car.

No other cars were involved in the crash, which is under investigation by police.
