BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) - Former Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis is in South Florida promoting a charity that teaches at-risk children to fish.

The 1988 Democratic presidential nominee will help raise money Thursday in Boca Raton for the Florida Fishing Academy.

He tells The Palm Beach Post (https://bit.ly/1jv7ykn ) that he thinks Hillary Clinton is “a darn good candidate.” He also says Democrats must do a better job highlighting the Affordable Care Act.

The 80-year-old Dukakis also says he feels as if he’s 20 and that he has moved on from his presidential defeat.

He said: “I’m not a guy that sits around moping for years.”
