NIKISKI, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers say that a Nikiski teacher under investigation for inappropriate behavior with a student has been found, a day after he caused a school lockdown with a suicide threat.

KTUU reports (https://bit.ly/1g14DFl) the man was located by troopers on the Kenai Spur Highway and is being treated for unspecified injuries.

Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman Beth Ipsen confirmed the man found Friday was the same man who caused lockdowns at two Nikiski schools on Thursday.

Ipsen says the man was hospitalized for injuries he had sustained, but she didn’t immediately have word Friday afternoon on whether they were life-threatening. Ipsen says it’s also not clear if the injuries were self-inflicted.
