CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Department of Education has received a $1.3 million federal grant to support its lowest-performing schools.

Through a competitive grant process, the state department will award the money to schools that demonstrate the greatest need and strongest commitment to provide adequate resources to raise student achievement.
