TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson say a 32-year-old man has died from injuries suffered when his vehicle collided with another.

Sgt. Chris Widmer says the incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Pantano Road.

Widmer says Bobby Partridge was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Widmer says the 47-year-old woman driving the other vehicle only had minor injuries and didn’t need to be transported to a hospital.

Authorities say Partridge was driving his PT Cruiser at a high rate of speed and he rear-ended the other driver as she was completing a U-turn.

They say the impact caused Partridge’s injuries.

Investigators believe alcohol and speed were contributing factors.
