CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Arrest warrants say a man beat and killed a 32-year-old Aynor woman before dismembering her and dumping her in a Darlington County river or lake.

Investigators still haven’t found Angie Pipkin’s body. They searched the Great Pee Dee River on Friday, shortly after 46-year-old Randy Robinson was charged with murder in her death.

The arrest warrants say Robinson beat Pipkin to death on Jan. 17, one day after she was last seen at a grocery store in Aynor. Pipkin’s family reported her missing five days later.

Investigators haven’t said why Robinson may have killed Pipkin or how the two knew each other.

Robinson is being held without bail. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
