LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A new executive director has been selected to lead the International Quilt Study Center and Quite House at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Leslie Levy is scheduled to begin the job on July 1, taking over for interim executive director Alice Kinsler. Kinsler took over for founding director Patricia Crews, who stepped down to become a full-time faculty member at UNL.
Levy is the executive director of the Willa Cather Foundation, an international nonprofit organization that promotes Cather’s legacy through educational programming, preservation and the arts.
Levy previously was chief of the consumer protection and antitrust division for the Nebraska attorney general’s office.
She earned her bachelor’s and law degrees from UNL.
