DULUTH, Minn. (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested a teenager with an airsoft gun and another male on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus.

The university issued an alert for students and staff to “shelter in place” after receiving a report about someone with a gun on campus Thursday morning. The university says the two walked into the Kirby Plaza Bus Hub about 7 a.m. and an employee saw one of them drop what appeared to be a gun. The employee called 911.

WDIO-TV (https://bit.ly/1ni4UmD ) says campus police arrested the two and lifted the lockdown alert. The university says a 15-year-old male and a 19-year-old man were arrested and an airsoft pistol was recovered. An airsoft gun looks like a real firearm, but fires plastic pellets.
