Md. woman dies after shoveling snow

BOWIE, Md. (AP) - Authorities in Prince George’s County say a woman has died after shoveling snow.

Fire/EMS Department spokesman Mark Brady says the 60-year-old woman was out shortly after snow stopped falling Monday. He says she likely suffered a heart attack while shoveling and was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the official cause of the woman’s death.
