MILWAUKEE (AP) - The death of an 8-year-old boy has neighbors in one Milwaukee neighborhood calling for a speed bump to be installed.

WITI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1liK8CA ) Jacari Maxwell was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday evening after running between parked cars into the street.

The driver who hit him stayed on the scene, cooperated with police and has been arrested on tentative charges of operating after suspension, causing death. It will be up to prosecutors to file formal charges.

Neighbor Derrick Thomas says too many cars drive too fast on a street where his children and others often play outside.

Neighbor Sheila Jones says a speed bump would help slow drivers going through the area.
