LIVONIA, Mich. (AP) - Three men suspected in a series of suburban Detroit home invasions have been arrested following a police chase.

Livonia police say the chase followed two break-ins Monday morning in the community west of Detroit.

A resident gave officers a description of the suspects’ car. The driver refused to stop when police tried to stop the vehicle on Interstate 96.

The chase continued west into Detroit where police forced the car to stop. One suspect was caught after a short foot chase. The other two were found hiding in vacant houses. Several items stolen Monday were recovered.

Livonia police say the home invasions stretched over the past several weeks.
