LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police say two people are expected to recover after they were shot at a Waffle House restaurant in west Little Rock.

Little Rock police Lt. Sidney Allen says the shooting occurred early Monday at a Waffle House on Shackleford Road. Allen says the shooting occurred after an argument between two patrons at the restaurant.

He says the alleged shooter left the restaurant, retrieved a gun and came back inside and opened fire. One customer was hit by gunfire, as was an employee.

Allen says police don’t yet know whether the victim knew the suspect. He says both the customer and the employee suffered wounds that aren’t life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.
