TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Two baby ring-tailed lemurs have been born at the Toledo Zoo.

Visitors to the zoo this weekend got to see the lemurs that were born just within the last two weeks. Their mothers are 7-year-old twins.

The zoo says the genders of the newborns aren’t known yet.

The Toledo Zoo just a year ago had two more newborn lemurs.

Ring-tailed lemurs are listed as a vulnerable species in their native Madagascar. The zoo takes part in a plan to promote the survival of the species.
