SEATTLE (AP) - Mainly dry weather is forecast Monday through Wednesday in Western Washington, which should help recovery workers at the site of the Oso mudslide who have been working in the rain.

After scattered rain showers Sunday, the National Weather Service expects partly sunny skies Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures in the 50s. Clouds return Wednesday and a chance of rain again on Thursday.

A flood warning remains in effect for Stillaguamish River just above the mudslide blockage, although the river has cut a new channel. And a flash flood watch is in effect downstream, in case the blockage suddenly gives way.
