NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - The Navy says its non-essential personnel in southeastern Virginia will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday due to winter weather.

The order by Navy Region Mid-Atlantic applies to personnel at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Naval Air Station Oceana, Naval Station Norfolk, Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads, Naval Weapons Station Yorktown and Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

Non-essential personnel at those installations were released at 11 a.m. on Monday due to the winter storm.

In Hampton, Langley Air Force base has been closed to everyone but mission-essential personnel due to the winter storm. Fort Eustis in Newport News is operating under the same status as Langley Air Force Base.
