Narcotics officers arrest 2 in Monroe County

AMORY, Miss. (AP) - Authorities in Monroe County say an Amory couple was arrested by narcotics officers on Saturday.

The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1g4IteS ) 25-year-old Brandon Foster and 23-year-old Jasmine Danielle Gilmore were arrested at their home on Mississippi Highway 371.

Investigators say Foster was booked with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Gilmore was booked with possession of controlled substance, deputies say.

It was not immediately clear whether either suspect has an attorney.
