EAGER, Ariz. (AP) - The state Department of Transportation is preparing to reopen several eastern Arizona highways that were closed for the winter.
ADOT says it plans mid-April re-openings of State Route 261 between Eager and Big Lake, State Route 273 between Sunrise Park and Big Lake and State Route 473 between Hawley Lake and State Route 260.
ADOT says the winter did not produce heavy snow accumulations but that it needs to check for snow drifts and downed trees and make any necessary repairs.
