TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) - Firefighters in Tahlequah say a 66-year-old man has been killed in a house fire.
Fire Chief Ray Hammons told the Tahlequah Daily Press (https://bit.ly/1hbOiI2 ) that Billy Robinson was found dead in the home by firefighters who were called to scene about 8:45 p.m. Saturday.
Hammons said the home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
He said it appears the fire began in the kitchen of the home and that the state fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
