NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of an Exxon station in Newark.

Troopers say it happened Saturday evening around 10:45 p.m. when a man entered the station at 4600 Ogletown Stanton Road, produced a handgun and demanded money from an employee. The man allegedly removed money from the station’s cash register and fled.

Delaware State Police say the employee was not injured.
