Man found shot to death outside Tucson apartment

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a fatal shooting of a man outside of an apartment complex is gang-related.

Sgt. Chris Widmer says officers responded to reports of shots fired Friday shortly after 11 p.m. outside an apartment on 2nd Street near Alvernon Way.

Widmer says they found the victim lying in a parking lot.

Widmer says the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they have not arrested any suspects.

They are asking anyone with any information to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
