HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) - A man who shot his daughter’s ex-boyfriend to death in an Aloha grocery store parking lot was sentenced Thursday in Hillsboro to life in prison.
Jeffrey Johnson won’t be eligible for parole for 25 years.
The Oregonian reports (https://is.gd/MzGl8E ) Washington County jurors convicted him last month of murder in the death of 22-year-old Ryan Lee Johnson.
At the time of the shooting in January 2012, Ryan Johnson and Jeffrey Johnson’s daughter were involved in a custody dispute over their 3-year-old son.
