SCRANTON, Ark. (AP) - Logan County authorities say a woman was killed and a man is in custody after a shooting at a home near Scranton in western Arkansas.
The Times Record reports (https://bit.ly/1pfQhzj ) that the shooting was reported Wednesday afternoon and Logan County deputies found the woman dead at the scene.
Chief Deputy David Spicer said the man was arrested at the scene and that two children found in the home were not injured.
The names of the dead woman and the man were not immediately released.
